We are hiring a fully remote digital advertising manager to support our clients’ ad initiatives on Google/YouTube, Bing, Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, and various other platforms.

This position is responsible for setting up new ad accounts and ongoing optimization of existing ad accounts. Applicant must be an expert at running ads on all stated platforms, whether starting from scratch or inheriting an account with 10 years of history and needing to develop/implement a plan for improvement.

Experience setting up and managing shopping feeds and optimizing shopping campaigns is essential. Clients typically use WordPress (WooCommerce), Shopify, or Magento.

Attention to detail is vital. This includes budget management, ad settings, tagging/tracking, naming conventions, spelling/grammar, etc.

This position is expected to be proactive in suggesting and implementing new campaign ideas, able to identify and address underperforming campaigns, and report on successes and milestones. Must be able to communicate this information to the client during calls in a succinct and helpful way.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Monday.com to track and manage new campaign buildouts and projects
  • Create, manage, and oversee all ad campaigns
  • Test, evaluate, and report on target audiences in each platform
  • Maintain consistent campaign structure, organization, capitalization patterns, etc.
  • Verify everything is tracking correctly; set up any tracking required (including ecommerce)
  • Create and manage shopping feeds for primary ad platforms
  • Create social ad imagery when required (either in Canva or Photoshop)
  • Conduct keyword/competitor research
  • Write grammatically sound and on-brand ad copy, headlines, and calls to action
  • Provide updates on client calls

Requirements

  • Proven experience with all ad platforms detailed in this job description
  • Familiarity running both eCommerce and lead-gen campaigns
  • Expert knowledge of Google (and Microsoft) Ads Editor
  • Familiarity with Ahrefs for keyword research
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot errors with tracking and shopping feeds
  • Minimum two years of managing campaigns on Google, Bing, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Strong copywriting skills and attention to detail to ensure proper spelling, grammar, URLs, budget allocations, etc.
  • General weekday availability between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. PDT

Salary & Benefits

  • $70,000 to $80,000 DOE
  • Insurance offered after 90 days of employment
  • Two weeks of paid vacation/year + national holidays
  • 401k with 100% match of employee contributions up to the first 6% of pay (after one year)

Desired Characteristics

Our ideal candidate can independently jump into any ad account, assess with is (or isn’t) happening, come up with a game plan, roll it out, iterate, and report back on performance.

They are a motivated self-starter and problem solver — always looking for ways to improve performance and efficiencies; proactively moving on to the next thing: new ad copy, new audiences, new targeting, new bidding strategies, etc.

They are creative and resourceful — able to write compelling ad copy for even the drabbest of industries. They know how to extract key points of emphasis from each client’s website and match that to target personas/audiences.
